Realllllly Simple Sindication

At long last I found time to sign up for an online RSS aggregator. I finally decided on NewsGator, and know what? This is actually really cool. It is sooooo simple, all you need to do is set up an account and add your favorite news sites or blogs. Then you only need to look in one location instead of surfing from site to site.

On the down side, I was bummed that I couldn't add my favorite hyperlink, Pechanga.net. Victor, if you are reading this, I do hope you will consider this at some time in the future. Especially in light of the fact that you have always been in the technological front in regards to aggregating Indian News online. Of course, you are doing such a great job I will say no more.... it was just a thought.

Now if I can get this audio blogging down, someone just might think I'm cool! But for now I am stuck with plain ole marked up text.

Oh, hey, BTW, Happy Holidays! Merry Christmas! Feliz Navidad! Hest Nowel!

Am I Connected

I am here finally, after so much time, I am here! I wasn't too sure how this Blog thing worked and honestly, I was a bit intimidated... You know how us ndns totally flip out on change. Well, I flipped out and had a rezzy moment. Weather here is not bad - we are finally getting our cold chill. Last night our lows dropped to about 33, a tad bit above freezing; our highs have been in the low seventies to high sixties. Not bad for winter I guess. I hear that our highs in the next week will creep up to about the mid fifties and talk of some rain around tuesday week next week.

Hopefully this posts okay or I'll flip out again.

Johari Windows

I went out to start the car this morning and the first thing i saw was frost all the way around. I should have just left it alone and went back to bed and waited for warmer conditions, but instead I scraped the frost from the windshield without defrosting the side or rear windows. I drove haphazardly to work this way.
Johari windows... frosted for a reason. Some things are better left hidden or unknown.

Broke and Happy

Six days left and I did it... I got all my Christmas shopping done and I'm broke as hell. But what kind of Indian would I be if I didn't know how to be broke? It reminds me of when I first started out in this adult life and I had absolutely nothing. I learned quickly that I could live on nothing for a very long time. I didn't have a house, I didn't have a job, I didn't have a car, I didn't even have anything to pawn so I could have a few bucks in my pocket. But I had family, friends, hopes, dreams, and big ambitions. Somehow I managed to make it this far, so to be broke now is not a big thang. At least for today I have everything I need and more, and I am able to share what I have with others, which means the world to me. For that I am truly grateful.

sk'u'l'let

Everything that's created - laws, land, language, people.
Our ways.
Our nature.
We're all one.
We're made for this piece of land.
The way we're made/created.
All under the same... (refers to land, language, laws, people).
Can't be changed, stays forever.
sk'u'l'let.
