White Elephant Gifts

Are you last minute shopping for your white elephant gift exchange? My favorite places to shop for inexpensive gifts are Michael's Crafts and Ross Dress for Less. Micheal's has a ton of crafty gift sets to buy for men, women, kids, adults. Ross always has those unique one-of-a-kind gifts in the home section, such as jewelry boxes, baskets, wall hangings, etc. But then again, Sears always has decent sales. Here are this weeks ads:

Craftsman 18-piece screwdriver set - $16.99
Cosmetic Traincase - $19.99
Kinoki cleansing detox foot pads (as seen on tv) - $19.99
Elegant 2GB MP3 player - $17.99

Or, if you want to try something new here's an idea. Buy $20 - $25 worth of your state's lottery scratch tickets (don't scratch them!) and put them in a plain little box and wrap it. We did that last year and it was funny to watch all the gamblers in the house debate whether to keep the tickets or pass on for a different gift.

Happy Shopping!

Timeline of Federal Indian Policy

Just when I thought I had enough accounts, enough profiles, enough INTERNET, I discovered this cool site called Dipity... In Dipity you can create your own timelines for practically anything you want. Of course, I had to test it out so I put together a quick timeline of Federal Indian Policy. Of all the accounts I have, I think this site has potential!
