in the game, but you can purchase a "scalping knife" to "scalp them all!"
As if to make amends, "The Hero" switches sides later in the game and
discovers a secret about his own indigenous heritage. This story twist
DOES NOT make the preceding chapters any easier to accept. In fact, in the
official guide to the game, it actually says that because "The Hero" rescues
some Apaches held captive on a train, perhaps it cancels a karmic debt for his earlier actions.
The "Association for American Indian Development" is asking you to join us in
VISIT "Indigenous News Network".

I own the game Gun and think it is brilliant. Although racism is wrong you dont "slaughter" the indians in the game you stand up for yourself when they attack you. And you dont have to scalp them, it is only there as an extra and involves nothing with progressing in the game. And later on in the game you become their allies to stop an evil freak called Magruger who captures them and turns them into slaves. Only the first part of the game involves killing Natives and that is it. So next time you stab something in the back like this game why not try playing it first. Now go cry yourself to sleep and try to imagine what life would be like if you had any freinds.

I was just playing GUN and stumbled on this for the same reason as the imbecile. The Apaches were attacking because the planned railroad in the game went through their tribal lands. You don't get a choice whether or not to kill them.
It did seem a bit insensitive but I wouldn't go as far as calling it racist. The player should have been given the choice and then have to deal with the consequences of their actions. Also, there is no need to scalp anybody to progress in the game and only at the start does the game oblige you to kill indians to progress through.
By the way. I live in spain and my ISP is ONO.

LOL, something like that... btw, I don't own the game, and will likely never buy it because it just sounds too violent for my taste. Even if they had to kill another race it would still be too violent. I'll stick to more peaceful games, like Guitar Hero!!!

Hello again Rezilla, Miss me? I've been going through various things and trying to make up for some stuff i've done wrong (mainly thanks to the influence of a TV show entitled MY NAME IS EARL). So i thought i'd come back and apologise for my previous behaviour. I dont know what came over me, and I was going through hard times (I'd like to keep low on the details...its personal) so i hope you will accept my apology.
I cannot express how sorry I am. It's Nick you'll have to convince to change their ways, who has recently turned into a chav, and I am no longer freinds with him, as he still is an imature fool. Now i must apologise for my languauge, but thats just how i am, you cant change that. Oh and i played through GUN again, I see where your coming from, but i still do not think it is racist, just a reflection of how those old times where.

No worries here... I didn't realize 20 months ago this would become a debatable issue. I don't usually have time to watch tv so I haven't seen the show you are talking about, but with a quick wikipedia search I think I get what it's about... I can appreciate where you are coming from. Although i have played this game i didn't get any problem with this.It was so interesting.Thanks for providing this one.
